Hanging just one piece of artwork can be a challenge to get just right, but hanging a group of art can be completely overwhelming to even begin.

Before measuring anything, lay all the pieces you want to group together out onto a table of floor and begin positioning them around each other. Even if all your pieces in the group are different inshape and size, try position them so that the spacing can be even between them all, on every adjacent side. What should that spacing be? For medium to large sized art, try spacing them 3 inches apart or less, on all sides. Smaller art however, only needs around 1 inch of spacing between pieces. Once you have chosen relative positions and spacing for each piece, you can begin to think of the group as a single big artwork. That way, you be able to determine the center of the group and use that point to measure what height to place the group on the wall.
